my oil pressure sensor leaked too, you can just tighten it with a big wrench.

tighten it until you crack the oil pan, then you'll find your leak

Do you have a low oil sensor in your pan?
If it came on the car from the factory. Why do you ask?
Well you either do or you don't? The reason I ask is I had this reocurring problem on my wifes 90. I changed the plug and gasket a couple of times. I finally discovered it was the low oil sensor seal that is mounted in the sside of the pan just above the rear drain plug. It was seaping and pooling up at the bottom of the drain plug. That was the fix. That's why I asked if you had one.
This is true. I just don't know whether or not I have one. Oh, I guess I do have one if I have a low oil light, huh? Sorry for being dense. It very well could be coming from there, and fooling me. Thanks for the tip, Pro.[sm=smiley20.gif]

Incidentally, I broke out the torque wrench, and neither drain bolts were even close to tight enough. I think my threads are kind of junky, and create the sensation that the bolts are tight even when they are not. I suspect that the leak will stop now, unless it is actually the low oil sensor leaking. Thanks again.

It's a deal. I'm going out right now to twist a hole in my oilpan. Thank god Fiveliter is gonna bail me out. I'll let you know how it goes.

He'll be on tomorrow. I'll post pics of my crankshaft, as seen through the hole in my sump.

Wait, I already put a hole in my pan. I thought you had already cleared it with Fiveliter.
