Default Torque specs for oil drain plugs?

As some know, I've been battling a leaky oil drain plug washer. Today, a novel thought occured to me: Why not break out the torque wrench, and make sure it is tight enough. Does anyone know the torque spec for my drain plugs?

Tighten it like your tightening a spark plug.

Thanks for the quick replies everyone. That's what I normally do with vehicles, but for some reason, this pan leaks. I'll be swapping out the plastic washer next change, I'm just trying to avoid having to dump fresh oil just to change the washer. What a stupid problem.

Do you have a low oil sensor in your pan?

If it came on the car from the factory. Why do you ask?

Well you either do or you don't? The reason I ask is I had this reocurring problem on my wifes 90. I changed the plug and gasket a couple of times. I finally discovered it was the low oil sensor seal that is mounted in the sside of the pan just above the rear drain plug. It was seaping and pooling up at the bottom of the drain plug. That was the fix. That's why I asked if you had one.
