RE: 95 cobra v 95 cobra svt
I've seen both too. There are rear bumpers that say Cobra and some that don't.
I think that they are both the same as well. I would just make sure that you could prove the authenticity of either if you were ready to plop down any money on one. The real cobras are all SVT cars just like the Camaro SS cars are all taken to SLP. It's easy to ID a fake SS (No SLP Door sticker, V6 engine, no paperwork, etc...) so it shouldn't be hard to find a fake Cobra either.
Good luck,
Ivan

i don't think all Camaro SS's are taken to SLP karma. i think thats a special versino of the SS which is listed at 345 horse instead of 320.

The 345 HP version you mentioned is the Level 2 SS that has the "Special Air Intake (SLP Blackwing) and the Loudmouth exhaust. It also include a different set of progressive rate springs and shocks that are made by Koni.
FYI-Up until 2002, you couldn't even buy a SS spoiler or Hood from GM unless you took your car into GM for VIN inspection to prove authenticity. Now, you can order "replacement SS/FireHawk/WS6 parts" right from the parts catalog. They did this to attempt people fraudulently building SS cars and to prevent a "flooding" of the market as to retain the value of the 4th Gen SS/FireHawk/WS6 cars.
I've owned 4 SS cars and 2 Z28's. I know a little about them. (at least enough to get me into trouble....)
