Default Quetion for tech heads out there

I am getting ready to pull my clutch and replace it. My question is on my 94, do I have to drop the oil pan to get to my rear main seal? I figure that I am going to be that close and I have 130K that maybe I should go a head and change out the rear main too. I have my manual but it just describes that I can access it when I remove the flywheel. I am also wondering if I should replace the oil pan gasket with that many miles. It leaking a little oil, so I was going to take care of the rear main, and valve cover gaskets at the same time. The oil pan dosent seem to be leaking but, is it better safe than sorry? Thanks for any help!

Ok, which is it? You just contradicted yourself. ???? Any way in answer to your question, No need to drop the pan for the rear main. If it's not leaking, (oil pan) I would leave it alone.

any leak you see is probably from the rear main...leaking on other stuff and appearing as another leak.

no, no need to pop the pan, and no i wouldn't do it.

resurface your flywheel when you do the clutch, and do an adj. cable too.
