Default An actually new question to you guys...

So thinking about my EGR port problem (to those who remember). I think I know what happend, finally! Would using a different line off of the vacum tree, the one that has four hoses coming out of it (two for the soleniods for the air pump, one for the EGR valve itself, and one for the Fuel Pressure regulator). Would bad things possibly happen if you were to say, run one of the vacum lines for the air pump soleniod to the EGR valve?? Since those lines are controlled by the EEC by those things on the pass. side Strut tower.

I think this cause I now recall my dad telling me he was messing with my car while we were putting the new engine in and telling me he broke the line that was going to the EGR valve, but no big deal, put the vacum line from one of the airpump soleniods on it instead.

yep, that would be a problem. the egr solenoid is activated at different times than the TAD/TAB (airpump) solenoids
