the rule of thumb that ive heard is 100 pounds = a tenth in the 1/4.

im really doubting the 80-100hp thing.

With motorcyces, I think they say that every seven pounds you shed is equal to 1 hp--either 7 or 10lbs, I can't remember. I don't know how to figure out that relationship for cars though. Ten hp per 10 pounds sounds a bit silly though.

i appreciate any and all feedback guys, thanks. all i can say is i'm very,very frustrated. a stock 5spd car with nothing but pulleys, gears, and a k+n will do high 13s easy. i even had a stock 87 gt with an aod and 2.73s with pulleys and flowmasters and was in the 14.9s. so why my car sucks so bad is beyond me. for the money i've spent so far i could have bought something faster without all the wasted hard work i've done.
