Default Coolant Leak

Ever since weve had our car (over a year now) it has been leaking coolant. We replaced the gooseneck gasket hoping that was it but it wasnt. I bought a new neck (chome one was the only one I could find). It leaked from the bypass hose so we took it off and put some pipe dope on it. It still leaks but it seems like it getting worse. Coolant likes to pool ontop of the timing cover right under the gooseneck. What else can I check to see if its leaking. By the way a new bypass hose was put on and a new thermostat was put in (motorad 180 failsafe. It had a 180 in it before. Thanks for your help.

get one of those compression testors. you can get one from any advanve auto parts.. it looks like a keg tap with a radiator cap on the end you hook it up and put pressure to the system.. itll leak like hell wherever the leak is!

Alright. I just got from the store so it will probably be a day or two before i get back. As far as the timing cover gasket goes. One of the previous owner swap in a B cam and put all new stuff on. Not sure if they used silicone on it or not but there was silicone where other stuff has been done. The gasket on the cover is a blue one. The excess is breaking off it if that matters any.

I looked through my folder of reciepts and there was one for a Felpro gasket. It was just the instructions though. I looked at it and it didnt seem like there was any silcon on it. I took a wrench and was able to tighten a few of the bolt down a little better(guess silcon had set) on the gooseneck. Not sure if it will fix my problem or not. Cant check because its raining right now.
