it's not that bud.....say you are cruising to a stop sign.you push in the clutch..it hangs at 1100rpm...then it just bumps back and forth from 1100rpm to 500 till you come to a complete stop, then maybe it idles where it supposed to be....mine is set at 850 btw.
Do you have a code 67 showing up at KOEO by any chance?....

Mine idles at 750 when it's cold and 850 when it warms up.

Run a KOEO, make sure tranny is in neutral for the test...if code 67 (Neutral safety circuit failure) shows up, the system will think the tranny is in gear all the time, and use a different logic for idle control while you're stopping in neutral.

The EEC-IV logic DOES NOT allow the operation of the EGR system when an EGR failure code is present. Therefore, no timing advance is added by the system, since the EGR function is cancelled/bypassed.

explain this?....i read all that awhile back....

i plugged it back in like i said...i will add this info..when i put my a9p computer in it runs fine, just the idle hangs high, but doesn't bounce.

EGR failure code present in the system = EGR delete by the system

No bouncing idle, but high....even when you do a full stop?.......

Mine does the same thing I run the A9L and the car runs like crap and dies and then I run the A3M (cobra computer) and the runs fine with a bouncy idle.
