anybody else ever had this thought ?
 

....what would it look like without the molding ?

i took some pics a couple weeks ago and the way the light hit the car it sorta came out looking like there weren't any of the moldings on it, so i had the idea of chopping one of my pics where they were apparent, just to see what it would look like for kicks.... i'm kinda surprised how even cleaner it makes it look.... sadly i think it's practically impossible, or at least it would be too damn complicated, but the idea is pretty darn cool IMO.:D

i've seen 3 with no moldings. 2 notches and a hatch. 2 of them looked like complete ****, but one of the notches looked amazing. the guy who owned it worked for a custom body shop around here and i think he said he made a new front bumper for it but i cant remember. you should take yours off.

Yeah I was thinking the same for my new notch, but the bumpers don't make it quite a simple plausible idea unless you got new bumpers.

i dont know i kinda like the moldings.... it breaks up the car and makes it look less plain
