Default 88-93 hatchback

Hi everybody, I'm new to the 5.0 forums, I'm more of a classic guy my self (I have a 1965 restomod stang) but I've recently fallen in love with the 88-93 5.0 Hatchbacks. From what I understand they are pretty cheap and easy to modify. How much would you guys think an 88-93 5.0 hatchback in good condition and perfect running conditon (good paint and interior) cost? Oh and its gotta be a stick. Of course I would mod the living **** out of it but I'm just wondering how much, ball park figure, it would cost to buy the base car and then about how much to make it put out pretty good power. Thanks in advance.

Ive been looking for a hatch w/ a stick for a looong time. I have not found one that was in decent shape. But, expect to pay at least $4,000 for something decent.

We paid $6k for ours and it was in good shape. A few things needed replacing and the trim needed painting (car was already painted).
