the speed density(87-88) cars are faster stock but once u start moddingu need a mass air car!other wise the engine will not realize it been hopped up!

no the reason the 87-88 are faster they dont have the factory mass air meter in the intake tract if u upgrade to a larger 70mm(stock is something like 55) then it will level the playing field!

ehh, everybody's got their preferences... personaly i prefer having airbags than a tilt steering, so 90-92 (didn't include 93 because of the hyper pistons obviously) ...and of course i have to preach a little for the early 1990 model, just because it's still a 25th anniversary edition, so you get the badge and the leather shift ****

As you can tell everyone has there own certain year that is special to them.
I personally like the look of a 87-93 better than the 79-86.
The 5 star wheels on the 91-93 look good on any year stang.
