well, considering i only have 1000 in my forged 347 shortblock, i figured on alot less money than building a 351. i think i have around 3800-4500 in my motor now but i dont have any numbers yet cause its not done. 351 will be my next project though.

what is everyones facination with 347 strokers??? if your gonna put a **** ton of money into a motor... why not go with a 351w base motor....
you could basically build a 408 stroker for the same money and get MUCH more power
I plan on digging up a 351 some time this summer and just dropping it in over the winter. no rebuild no nothing.... im just gonna run it till it blows up (assuming it has good compression when i buy it) right off the bat with a 351 your looking at MUCH better numbers with little work... there is no reason why a 351 with aftermarket h/c/i cant put down an EASY 350 at the wheels if not more
