Reset ECM (disconnect battery for 5-8 min.), reconnect everything back, test drive for 5 minutes, all conditions including a couple of WOT runs, run a set of KOEO/KOER self-tests ( http://www.themustang-net.com/eec.shtml ), and check if code 66 or 56 shows up....and/or,

A bad MAF?.....yep...if it's really defective, need to get the information and proof first, to blame it though. Other possibilities?....TFI, stator sensor, fuel pump, ECM, ECT, wiring problems, bad grounds, ACT.......reason why getting the right set of information is important. My 2ยข.
