What kind of headers would anyone suggest for a deep exhaust? long tube/shorty/equal shorty etc, i have Flowmaster cat backs atm(40s series) on my 5.0 i plan on ordering Xpipe along with my headers, any suggestions?

everyone says longtube gives the deepest sound, and ive also heard equal shorties give a pretty deep sound.

Most people buy an H-pipe instead of an X because it's supposed to have a deeper sound. I can't verify that tho cause I have an X-pipe. So if you want deep buy a H-pipe. Also if you read in bbk's site (that's what brand my X is) they say that the exhaust crackles and pops or something when you combine flowmaster's and an X-pipe. This could be true with all X-pipes, I don't know just putting that info out there for you. I, however, like the sound of my car with my Flows and X-pipe. I also have ceramic shorties on there as well (BBK also)

+1 If you are looking for a deep sound I wouldnt go w/ the X pipe.
