Default Why do auto parts sites say i have a AOD-E in my 93 GT ?
Hello all

I'm dropping in a replacement AOD tranny from a 92 5.0 into my 93 GT cause it slips and i was going to buy a filter kit and torque converter to drop in there. When you look up the parts for the 93 it comes up as having a AOD-E, which I thought started in 94. What gives? Let me know cause i need to get the parts ordered. thanks.

Well, you do have a AOD so I wouldnt worry about it.

well when u search it should say

the years 87-93 and they are aod

idk, i think it would be the same if it was for an 89 or w/e
