Default RE: mileage

I know that nobody will believe this, but when my '88 GT AOD with the 2.73 rear gears was only about 6 months old, I went to Englishtown, NJ from Richmond, VA and with the windows closed and the AC off because it was a cool day, I got 27 mpg crusing up the interstate at 65 mph with the cruise control on. that lock up converter and tall gear could really put out some good mileage if you didn't constantly put you foot to the floor in it!
and then once I got there a young guy in a 5 speed parked next to me and was complaining that he only got 12 mpg in his, didn't have the heart to tell him what I was getting though.[sm=lol.gif]

Default RE: mileage

I usually get 16mpg on 87 gas, 17-18 on 89 Gas, and my mom put in 93 last tank for me and i got 22mpg. it was SWEEEEEET. I have a stock 93 GT though with only a cold air intake kit, and a crank underdrive pully.
