run dish pistons and you can run a real aggressive timing curve, that will help
also www.snowperformance.com, this would allow to you run an even more aggressive timing
in the hellion artcl they got 465rwhp off 185's, TFS intake, stock cam and stock exhasut
remember also that they were in NewMexico at an altitude of probably 3,000'
if you're at lower altitude it will make more power.
with 185's, good intake, good cam and exhaust.... you should push 500rwhp.
you can always do somethings like........underdrive pullies, electric fan, windage tray ..... those things togther will add another 20 or so hp.
personally I'm going with the following set-up and plan on putting it in the shop for engine
rebuild at end of the month.
306 overbore rebuild with forged dish pitson and windage tray and girdle support
Thumper ported stock heads
Ford "F" cam
Trickflow intake
70mm TB
underdrive pullies
electric fan
Figuring this should get me right at 500rwhp.
