What are the things that are numbered and circled on the top and bottom stock intake manifolds & EGR plate? Also, where do they go? And does the cobra manifold have all of the same holes? I have one, but it's bolted to the car and I don't remember much how it looks like underneith.

i can tell you number one is for the pcv valve

alright, so there's a hose then right there that does not go to another part of the manifold and it splits off, correct?

Do you know if the PCV in the same place on the Cobra manifold?

yeah its a direct swap, it will have 6 and 7 but the egr is built into the intake

Yeah, I have one lol.

The reason I ask is because I'm working on a project. I'm going to be buying a milling machine soon with my brother and we're going to try to create custom parts for 5.0's and skateboards (big difference, I know), so I'm working on a ford 302 FI invention right now, he's doing his skateboard idea, and I just need some things ID'd heh.

1. PCV valve goes.
2.Coolant goes through there im believe.
3.PCV valve hose connects to that.
4. Vacum line into vavum tree and Regulator.
5. Vacum line in front of intake.
6.Coolant goes thought EGR plate.
7.EGR bolt/stud goes through that hole.

Then where does the coolant exit the manifold if it goes through #2? There's nowhere for coolant to enter the EGR directly from the upper manifold, where does it exit the upper manifold?

Acttually no its not coolant, I think its EGR gases. Yea now that I think of it its EGR gases because mines always black when I take the intake off. Sorry for confusion

That's alright, man, I appreciate the help.

So if that's for EGR gasses, can that safely be plugged or opened into the intake without any adverse effects?

is #3 just supplying the PCV with fresh air or something else?

What vacuum line infront of intake? (#5) I don't recall.

Its just crankcase ventelation coming out of the PCV and goes back into the intake. on 3.

As for 5. I dont recall where the vacum line goes to, I tried fallowing it but I couldnt find out where it ended up I just know its vacum and if its not pluged in it will cause the engine to run like ****.
