AOD Breakin Period?
Quick Question. I baught a 93 GT a few days ago and the guy had the transmission rebuilt w/ a new torque converter less than 200 miles ago. Is there any kind of breakin period for the transmission or can I just drive it anyway I want. Thanks alot.

It does have a 6 month warranty But seriosly, if it breaks its not that big of a deal but I have to drive 2 hours away to the shop where its warrantied at... than drop it off drive back and pick it up and drive back........ NOT FUN lol

RE: AOD Breakin Period?
dude honestly u dont think the guy who had it before had fun with it?
there is no break in period like gears or a new engine
its an AOD its meant to be beaten to death. go out there and 1-d-1 shuffle shift that b1tch and if it breaks u know it wasnt rebuilt...
mine wasnt rebuilt and holds up to the 1-d-1 but it slips into 3rd when i do it so i know its not rebuilt. all stock 150k miles and i beat the crap out of it lol
