I am still working on getting everything from my old 4 cyl/5.0 car into a new 4 cyl stang. Today I pulled the V8 out and noticed that the old owner welded the motor mounts into the old car so the 8 cyl would fit, I can just order new mounts and bolt them into my new 4cyl car right? I won't have to weld them in or anything? I read somewhere that I should go for the convertable mounts, is that true and if so, why?
