Just bought a 5.0
It's a 1991 GT with a T-5. Has 97,000 on it and has some aftermarket shorty headers. There is a nasty vibration when you accel hard, so i plan to replace the flywheel and clutch. I get insurance tomorrow and then i can cruise!
BTW, i got it for $4500.

It shakes when the rpms get up and when you let off the gas. I don't know how to diagnose the problem but i know the clutch doesnt feel right. It engages right when you let off. The body is really nice. No rust at all but a few minor chips in the paint. Its very hard to find a 5 speed GT around here for some reason.
BTW, can anyone tell me what gears i have from this info: at 70mph in 5th im at 2100 rpm?

well... I'm thinkin I've got 2.73s and in 5th gear at 70 I would guess I'm at 1700...i'm not for sure i dont know a lot but i'd guess 3.55s...don't be surprised if I'm wrong but there should be a tag on the differential...I think anyway
