TwEECer vs. Others

TwEECer vs. Others
A lot of people recommend it, but I'm curious how many people actually own and use it. I was thinking about getting one myself, but the lack of product support is a huge turn off for it to me.

Offer any feedback that you have on the TwEECer if you have it. And please vote for the one you have, not the one you want or wish you had or your brother's, step sister's, dead aunt's, grandpa has ok?

RE: TwEECer vs. Others
Dyno Tune: PROS:
Really good results
Professional work
Troubleshooting
Less work for you!
CONS:
$500 for the base tune
$175 more or less for every subsequent tune
you have no idea what your car is ACTUALLY doing
TwEECer: PROS:
Complete control over everything
Your doing it yourself
Flexability (you sell your fox and buy an SN-95.... it still works... even in a new edge and S-197)
$520 for the r/t unit
Pay for the unit and tune it however many times you want to
CONS:
you need a computer to tune it
Laptops are expencive
Its gonna take a while to learn the unit
basically.. just get the tweecer if you like modding alot... if your the kind of person who buys your parts and has someone else install them... get a dyno tune
TwEECer = DiY
Dyno Tune = You lazy bastatrd!!!

RE: TwEECer vs. Others
I think you can get more out of it with a tweecer, you could still have a dyno shop tune with it, as long as the do custom chips. Ive seen the program that they use for the custom superchips and its basically all the same stuff the tweecer has, so im sure they could figure it out. And they are always wanting to see something new, especially something with datalogging. A lot of the custom chip makers have dataloggers, but they are several different pieces of equipment for what ever they are trying to figure out. anyway i say TWEECER R/T
