The problem here with getting rear axles and five lug conversion up here in Eastern Ontario is that junk yards won't sell just the axles--one must buy the entire housing and everything--meaning two complete assemblies and a prohibitive price not to mention, what one does do with the rest of the stuff.
I am trying to get a five lug/rear disc converstion and keep the 15" wheels I have and at a reasonable price. Anyone out there know of such a thing?

i dont understand, if your doing a conversion, you would have 4 lug wheels.

making the wheels you have useless to you after a conversion.

unless you do a 4-lug rear disc conversion.

im confused, you want to go to 5-lug, and keep your stock 4-lug wheels?

impossible.

if im misinterpreting the post just let me know, and word it differently for a canuck to understand lol

Further to getting 15" five lug conversion for my 89 LX 5.0: I mispoke! I should have said keep my original 15" tires--not the wheels.
The question still is: Does anyone know of a reasonably priced system for converting to 5-lug discs all around?
