Default Power locks don't work

My power locks don't work, is there a fuse for them? I checked all the colored fuses but can't tell if the metal cased ones are fried or not. Also, im missing a fuse in spot 17 according to the fuse panel cover. BTW its a 91 GT.

The metal "fuses" arent fuses theyre relays. There might be a relay for the windows, check your owners manuel.

I looked in my Ford service manula and it doesnt list a power lock fuse. It sasy though that 14 is for the windows. Its the metal breaker near the round thing. Had to check mine earlier today. Slot number 17 isnt used. Number 3 is a spare also.

my power locks don't work also I can use the pass side like a car without power locks but the drivers side cannot be locked, it's almost like the lock is stuck. I was told that this is the actuator is either froze or unhooked. That might be the case with your door locks also

Last year the passenger on our 93 locked up. I was able to fix it by cleaning up some dirt around the latch and then oiling the latch and actuator. It is still working.

Most likely your going to need actuators, very simple install to. The best way to know is take out your actuators and touch it with a 9v, if it moves then it is good and something else is wrong. But like I said probably need new ones, I bought my GT with bad lock actuators. They run about $25-$40 for a pair.

Is the acutator in the door? Also, what does it look like?

BTW, neither the pass or drivers side buttons work.

Yes its in the door. Bascially it is a cylinder. Take your panel off and look under the latch and you'll see it.
