Post A/C Install

Hi,

I am currently trying to restore my 89 Mustang 5.0 GT, which has no A/C. All components were removed by previous owner. I was wondering if anyone has some info on parts or where i can buy from, also I'm not very car savvy so any instructions would be very helpful. I realize, I could have professionals do it but I want to try myself.

You can get a new or remanned compressor, clutch, drier, and expansion block for under $500, but then youre still going to have to buy all the hoses that are pre fitted. that might start adding up quick

Hi,

Thanks for the info, a couple questions Im new to this and not sure if the Accumulator is the same as a Dryer? Also Expansion block? I've been looking into all the parts needed for the A/C system and this is the first I've heard of this.

Thanks.

you don't have an expansion block, it has a fixed orifice tube molded into one of the lines
