Default SCT Chip

I got an SCT Chip shortyl after getting the 347 running and the place I got it from said I didn't need a selector switch and that with all mods that they couldn't dial in a tune right away that I'll need a dyno tune. I put it in today and the rev limiter is still there and there's no noticeable difference. I think it may be because I disconnected the battery but it takes a while to idle down. It did learn to w/o the chip to idle down, but took about 1 min. Doesn't even have the Ford rolling idle.

The reason I went with SCT is because there's a dealer about an hour from me, yet wants an arm and a leg to do it.

Question is, do I really need a switch for it to "turn on", or does it default to one bank?

Thanks.

It still pulls like a raped ape. But now I know how grabem88 feels like when you're power is cut out at rev limit.
