what the stock tire size on the 10 hole rims i have an 84 if it makes a difference and whats the biggest tire i can put on the back with out a problem?

stock tire size is 225/50/15

the biggest tire you can fit is a 255/60/15 that is a 10" wide tire. that might be pushing it on the 7" rims though.
I am running 245/60/15 with no problems.

225/60/15 is what i found to be stock on all the tire sites

ok, my GT came with 225/50/15
the only difference is the 60 tire is slightly taller than the 50 tire.

225 is the width of tread
60 is a percent of the tread width for height
15 is rim size of course.

so a 225/50/16 tire is
225x.5=112.5 x2 =225for both sides of the tire converted to inches /25.4 =8.86+ rim size =23.86 inches tall

and the 225/60/15 is 25.63 inches tall.

yeah i kinda figured that out on my own i want a bigger tire all around hight and width
