Advantages of stroking a 302
Bingo! That is one of the MANY advantages to the 351. The block has all that extra skirt and webbing to help block strength. The biggest problem of the 351 is its height. Because its so tall, people restrict it with a poorly designed intake to make it fit under hoods. The sportsman 351 block is just as cheap as the A4 R302 blocks too. So if you are gonna build it, build it BIG!
