RESULTS: 94 gt vs 97 gt
Here's the lineup for those who missed my previous thread:

and with me... +171 lbs
VS.
A **** talkin kid-
1997 Black Mustang GT Vert
STOCK
+160-170 lbs
Round 1:
His buddy in the middle waves and we go, I spin tooooo much for first he does slightly less then I do and so he hooks and goes I finally quit spinning and get into 2nd gear all the way by now he has his rear bumper to my front bumper and i'm pulling him in we hit 3rd at about 90 mph im dead even and he shuts down... needless to say HIS
Round 2:
The hands waved I have a MUCH better launch I hook 2nd gear flawlessly and cruise about a car length on him it slightly grows but, nothing major I shut down at about 90 again.... ME
Round 3: Hands waved I launch damn near perfectly again, he had a good launch too and I had his front bumper at my door we shift into 3rd at almost the same time and I hear his infamous (grrind, grind, clunk) he missed 3rd gear, I sprung happily ahead about 2 car lengths and shut it down. ME
We pulled back to the start where his buddy was with a **** eatin grin on his face and said "I told you he'd win" "Shut up, you didn't know". "What do you have done to that thing anyway I should have smoked you on the first run". Me- "Not a lot just a few minor bolt on's..." "Ah, damn well i'm getting a turbo kit soon and we can try this again". Me- "yep". "What exhaust are you running on that? it sounds a lot meaner then mine." Me-"just headers with stock exhaust.... gotta love the 5.0... anyway I gotta go, see you later"
I leave with a kill on my first mustang to mustang race

Yeah, I gotta admit on the first race when I kept spinning and he hooked I didn't think I could pull him in since stangs are notorious for low end torque and not high end speeds
