ya ,man, mobil 1 is the best stuff u can get, that and royal purple. i just put some in my stang along with a knn, it is the officail oil of nascar. normal oil starts breakin down after awhuike of runnin this stuff protects breakin down up to 400 degrees wich is waay hotter than ur oil will ever get!!, they tested cars with mobil 1 and found no wear after 200,000 miles, definetly switch man!!!

I run mobil 1 15/50 but i only run my motor in summer. If you are in a hot climate go with a thicker oil.But for winter and fall and spring 10/30 is fine.

it is the officail oil of nascar
What the hell's that supposed to mean?

To me, all it means is they ponied up some money to be the "official" oil of Nascar. Just like "Goodyear" is the official tire of Nascar. But you won't see me running to put Goodyears on my car, not when there's better tires out there.

As far as Mobil 1, yes, I use it and like it...a lot. But because it's a good product, not because it's the "official oil of Nascar".

And if I were a betting man, I'd be willing to bet none of the Nascar teams are using the same "Mobil 1" oil as we are.
