Default Upper/Lower Intake Installation

Ok, theres this one rubber hose going from the lower intake leading to underneath the upper
where it connects onto the lower(in the back, very back of it)
theres like a little metal connector piece that i think screws in.

I was going to transfer it right over to my NEW one but the NEW hole is MUCH bigger

does anyone know what this piece is?

and where could I get a new one? that would fit

Old Intake Upper/Lower: Stock
New Intake Upper/Lower: Edelbrock Performer RPM

Only thing I can recommend is call Edelbrock. They made the thing.

And while you got them on the phone, ask them "why" they did this. [:@]

Hopefully someone here has been thru this, and can help you as well.

Its your pcv valve. all edel. and ask what part you need to make your pcv valve fit now. They should have them at your local parts store.
