With the set up listed in my sig, what do you think is the best cam?

I'm planning on doing AFR 165 heads, so feel free to make recommendations with this in mind or provide ideas for both scenarios.

Do the heads first and then get a custom grind.

You can go to Comp but there are also a few other good places who do them... I will wait for someone else to chime in about other companies though because Im not too familiar.

Or you can just tell them that you have the AFR 165's on there or that your going to get them and get the cam first and than the heads, it really doesnt matter but it just wont run as well as it should w/ a cam build specifically for the heads w/ out them ya know.

The best cam for your engine is a custom grind. It will be tailor made to fit the parameters of the engine, car and also your goals with the car.

I would see Jay Allen @ www.camshaftinnovations.com tell him Jay from my5oh sent you.

That's great to know and I'll be sure to touch base with camshaft innovations.

I appreciate the input.
