Default Weird noise at shift. Sounds like a belt.

Hi, I have a 1990 GT. It has an automatic transmission and is all stock. At certain ambiant temperatures, when the car shifts from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to 3rd, there is a weird sound. Sounnd very simular to a slipping belt. I have had my tranny checked and new filters and fluid put in. I was told the tranny was in good shape. My belt has some wear (slight surface cracking), but it doesn't look too bad to me. I can feel a vibration in the pedal when the weird noise happens. It only happens when the car is a bit cold and the outside temperature is around 60ish degrees. Any ideas any one? Thanks!

Obviously change the belt first and see what happens. If the belt is cracking that means its dryed out and it could be slipping.
