Default trick flow heads.......

i just stepped into the world of aluminum heads, i bought a set of trick flow heads i was wondering for you guys who have used them how do you like them...and any advice or information on them would be great...thank you..

i know some serious porting would help them flow a great deal better...but that will come down the road....im just trying to find out about them as far as performance goes for being stock trick flows are they good, any bad flaws anything to that nature.....thanks again for all help

well they are far better than a stock casting, avoid the early early ones, I would have to look at some notes but TFS had a bad run of castings that side loaded the valve, causing destruction. I blew up a 306 in 95 due to this.

Put them on as soon as possible and go out and feel the power. I love mine, but you need to have them ported and polished to get the full effect.

I got the twisted wedge heads too, I like them quite a bit, though my car does run a bit warmer than it used to and I think it might be due to the aluminum.
