IMHO there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with studying the **** out of a car before you buy it. Regardless of what the owner thinks about it. He's not the one paying thousands of dollars for the thing.

As far as the rotation thing goes, PRO. If there were in fact 3:73 gears in the *** of it how many times would the DS rotate per one revolution of the wheel? I'm afraid two examples isnt enough for me to formulate a pattern.

check the door tags with the codes, there is one for gear ratio's, also ask them the 5 w's about the gears to see if they are bull****ing you... or ask to see a reciept.
