smog pump and emissions

will a 5.0 pass the state emissions with the smog pump eliminated? i want to take it out but i still have to pass.

Removing the smog pump increases your tailpipe emissions, so yes you may end up failing a smog check....

Smog pumps are such a bunch of crap. They don't reduce emissions, they just cheat by diluting the exhaust.

here in cali you won't pass the visual inspection if you don't have a smog pump
