Just weld the old ones. I had a 94 GT running low 12's and had no issues with my welded one

If you want a good house....build a solid foundation.....reinforce them, that's one of the upgrades anybody thinking about doing any strip or whatever racing, should do. My 2ยข.

"YES", If you are planning on having any power, buy the rienforcements. You can also weld up the stock boxes, to make it stronger. Trust me once you crack one, it will never be able to be repaired, only replaced... It happened to a friend's car, it sucks. I bought my rienforcements from UPR, they were around $70. Well worth the money. Fairly easy to install, you need two people one under the car, and one in the car to line up the bolts. The kit gives you a diagram, so if you follow it you really can't mess up... Good luck. Synyster

sometimes you can fix them with some welds and the rienforcements. Hopefully that will work for you... Synyster
