Default Explorer 302 ?

Alright I got a good deal on some GT 40P head and intake and the guy even threw in the block for free. My question is will a 97 302 be a direct bolt on with my pulleys and tranny?

Default RE: Explorer 302 ?

I asked this question to one of my buddies that does alot of 302 swaps into almost anything and he seems to think that the engine is almost identical since it was made from the same casting numbers. There might be suble differences since there are different locations for the accessories, but you could still utilize alot of the mustang stuff and it should work.

?? I'm no expert though and haven't tried it myself.
