Default clutch problems

my car was gay at the track and it was sooooo hard to shift and i ran very slow. im not even gonna say what the times were . but when i got home i got underneath the car and saw fluid w a frayed clutch cable so i replaced it with a autozone cable and changed the trans fluid with some royal purple. and now the clutch feels good at idle and its real smooth but now the pedal grabs really high and the clutch is slipping bad. wtf? i ditched the stock quadrent and put on an aluminum one and took off the steeda fire wall adjuster, its still slipping! it wasnt slipping at all with the frayed cable.

any replies will help & thanks for reading oh its and 87 gt

Default RE: clutch problems

You might have gotten fluid down onto your clutch. Either that or a bad cable was masking a problem you didnt know you had.
