Your trac-lok is junk. Rebuild it.... or spool it.

You get get a trac-loc rebuild kit from FRPP for $40 bucks and than have someone to install it. They will most likely charge you about $200-250 to redo it. So your looking at a total bill of somewhere around $300. If you dont have gears already get them while you are at it.

Ok before you run off and rebuild your trac-lok, go ahead and change the oil in it. Get some synthetic gear oil and MAKE SURE that it has limited slip additive!

When I had my gears put in the first time it was by an "OLD SCHOOL" mechanic and he threw in regular gear oil and it became a one tire fryer. Change the oil and it worked perfect.

7 dollars for oil and 2 dollars for a gasket beats $200+ for a rebuild.

if you're in there replacing the Traction-Loc you might as well upgrade your gears too.

slap some 3.73's in there for an additional $150, you'll be glad you did.

Plus an additional hundred or two to have the gears installed.
