E brake adjustment

E brake adjustment
I tried searching, but for some reason the search is really screwy and it's not coming back with any results, so don't go too hard on me, I know this has been poseted before.
The e brake cable on my 92 GT has stretched itself out, or so it seems. I was just looking to find out how I could tighten it up. I had the console out of my 91 GT and I looked at it and I couldn't seem to figure out how to do it.

RE: E brake adjustment
The adjuster for you e-brake is in the rear drum brakes, you should be able to adjust it from under your car, the back of the drum should have a little rubber plug and pull that off and use an adjuster tool or screw driver and turn the adjuster wheel, or you can take off your tire and drum and adjust it that way to.

Yeah the manual says to take center console out, I did that and I found no adjustment... I was lost with you too. WHen I changed my brakes, the drums of course I did see the adjusters there, except I wasn't able to adjust them perfectly.

RE: E brake adjustment
1993 5.0 thats for setting the service brakes. Ill see what it says in my ford manual about ebrake adjustment.
The manual said to adjust them at the equalizer (from the best I can tell). It says once you tighten them up to pull the handle a few time and make sure it is engaging and disengaging properly.
