Default ram air

well I think I successfully made my own ram air....here is what I did

I bought 2 plastic 4" flanges from the plumbing section at home depot....and I got a 4" dryer vent and ran it from my fog light opening to the hole in the fender where the stock intake takes over...tell me what you guys think

we'll see how long it lasts...as long as you don't seperate it much....it shouldn't be too bad...oh and as long as you don't kick it.....

I can get pics if you want....it just goes through the fender well......it isn't a bad idea even if you have a different intake....cuz it still improves air flow under the hood....i want to do one on the other side as well.....we'll see

you can get flexible aluminum duct hose at the Home Depot and use it instead of plastic dryer hose. it is metal and won't burn and it will last a lot longer than the cheap plastic stuff.

I had that setup on my 96 probe gt & it didn't like railroad tracks too much or puddles. The mustang does sit a little higher though

I had a friend that did this a few years ago, he swears it worked but I dunno, I just don't care for ram air - I know it works (somewhat), but I dunno - the whole water thing getting sucked up kinda sucks - let us know if you can feel the difference.

same here, I don't like the rain issue. Some factory ram air cars have rain guards in the scoop
