Default Intake Leak

Could a intake leak cause my stang to not feel as powerful as it used to be? Just got it out the shop, the guy said it has a tiny intake leak, not worth taking apart right now to fix if its that small. My mustang isnt as fast as it is, when revving the engine its even slower.
