I just paid the $$ for twisted wedge heads. With my mods should get me near to 500 hp at the flywheel and I don't have to change/ notch my pistons. Well worth it to me. 'Course I'm not N/A and run approx. 11 psi boost on my powerdyne with ceramic bearings.

Just wanted to add that I have the Edelbrock RPM intake, but I'd probably trade that for the Trick Flow intake.

Ive never heard of the TFTW outflowing the 165s...

I have also heard amazing things about the 165s, I'm sold. When you're talking $1100, another $200 isnt that big of a deal...
I would be real surprised if 1.90 valves out flow 2.02 valves.

What cubic inch? Compression? Carb or EFI?
347 Stroker. FMS X Cam. GT40 Heads. Edelbrock Dualquad intake w/ 2x Holly 390 carbs. MSD Ignition,
The carbs added 60 rwh. No guff, I scrapped the EFI last month and picked up massive power. Seems the factory timing curve doesn't work well with modified displacement motors. [:-]
long live the holleys. EFI blah[:-]

at .500" lift the 165s outflow the TW heads on the intake side, and the 165s outflow the TW on the exhaust side from .100"-.500" by a good margin.
