I would go with the TW's hand down and wish I would have over edelbrock due to the valve angle' s and how much more clearance the trick flows have, in my area and hell in western canada its almost impossible to find a 5.0 HO motor you have to get engines from crown vics and stuff. I ran into the problem of buying a engine from the scrap yard to find I couldnt run my edelbrocks due to the flat topped short block. had to spend a bunch of cash on getting my E-7's worked! BOooooo you will never find anyone saying much bad about the TW heads plus they flow amazing ported. The only bad thing is the springs like AFR's are not able to carry high lift cams from the factory, I think they are good to .530 lift if my memory serves me correct.

Well they will perform amazing compared to stockers, I was totally floored the first time my engine was together with all my new parts! they will be a huge gain, I would jump on the 62's if your charging it will pay off in the end, you will have more NA power with the 58 Cc heads but once boost is involved you will be glad they are 62 cc chambers.

Now my question is... I just picked up a street heat manifold, do you think that will flow enough? I got it for $50 bucks so I wasnt going to pass it up.

I went with the 165s because they're supposed to produce more power and are higher quality. I've also been told they can be ported to out flow the 185s

the TW's have VERY good low lift flow, they flow with 185's as the valves just start to open.
I would go with those. they work good with stock pistons too.

Does TF have a upgraded spring package or something like that?

Also, same Q a before.... will my street heat flow enough? I do want that low end power also because it is a street car (but of coarse it will see the track occasionally).
