Default Anybody here running a Trick-Flow topend kit N/A ?

Hello all:

Was looking at those Trick-Flow topend kits I have a 93 GT with an AOD that i recently got. Only mods I have for it so far (but none of it installed) is BBK ceramic headers, H-pipe, and exhaust. I also have new poly motor & trans mounts, and FRPP B springs & KYB GR2s.

I was thinking of going with the trick-flow topend kit after upgrading my TB (and was kinda thinking of getting a BBK SSI w/ TB and selling the trickflow) and MAF. I was wondering what kind of power increase I could expect with a proper tune and upgrading to 24lbs injectors.

Just wondering what you guys were getting... I know someone here is using this setup. Thanks.

I have the TF top end kit and am very happy with it. I've heard mixed reviews on the BBK SSI kit, but the power gains in MMFF a couple months ago was pretty compelling.

I just heard leaks and things like that could be a problem.

I am running the street kit and I also have an AOD. You will definetly need gears and the AOD sucks. I wish I had a manual. Does anyone know if you can change the shift points.

No, he's talking about the top end kit...H/C/I all in one pkg...

the BBK won't give you any different #'s than the Street heat will....why go thru all the trouble of selling it if it came w/ the kit?

I have the TFS top end kit with a 5speed. Typical results is about 100rwhp more over stock. If my car ran 190rwhp I gained 110rwhp.

I am running 24LB/hr injectors also. You will also need to get a larger fuel pump and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.
