Default Clunking nooise???

ok guys i have a 89 vert with an sn95 rear end. ever since after the conversion, when im driving at around 40 or so and let off the gas you can feel soemthing like clunk clunk clunk. like the car is bucking back and forth. i checked all the bolts on the shsocks and control arms and they are all tight. and i checked the ujoints too and they are still good.

i am thinking that the upper bushings are bad? any suggeestions?

check your driveshaft bolts. these are known to work themselves loose.

Driveshaft bolts. When we put the tranny back into our car I forgot to tighten the bolts and it made a horrible racket. Tighten them up and it went away. Put some thread lock on the bolts to help keep them from backing out.
