idc how much horsepower that thing is running, it is beautiful! i wonder where they got the lower front fascia insert.... and the mesh grille insert, that is sweet looking... gotta love the silver too..... he said 400-600 btw, not just 600.. cus i doubt 600 n/a would be very achievable on a street car either

good point..... 400-600 is kinda a broad spectrum..... but he said it runs mid 11's so its gotta be packing some serious rwhp... you never know, it could be like 12.5 to 1, 347 stroker, ported AFR's, the whole setup... i could see MAYBE 500 crank hp out of one

RE: 1985 Mustang 5.0 GT
Well the guy told me exact words its somewhere inbetween 400-600 hp he doesan't know exactly. Like I said, this coming sunday I'm going to check the car out / test drive / and go over finall details, if all is well, this car is MINE!
I'm going to look for a place where I can dyno test it, then we'll know for sure. But this car is OUTSTANDING I love it so much! When I get all the details I'll be sure to let you guys know!

You guessed it, 6k. Like I said, this one is really hooked up, the paintjob is brand new, rims and tires brand new, ect.. everything is new, the guy only drove it for car shows, and he never really raced it, just tested it on the track a few times. Also, the body kits new, ect... everything is NEW! lol.
You got pics of yours?

Hey thats great and I'm not trying to be a dik but there is a big difference between 400 and 600. If he'd a said 400-450 or something I doubt anyone would have said anything.

RE: 1985 Mustang 5.0 GT
correction a vette Z06 runs 11.7 with 505 hp...and thats factory claim...properly broken in with a professional driver could probably run 11.4 or so...ive seen an average driver run an 11.6 with a stock one.. but your car weighs about the same and might have better setup suspension for drag racing...... but anyways, what kind of body kit is that?!?! i had no idea they made body kits for '85-'86!! ive been looking all over for them and cant find a single one. i need a new front fascia and some side skirts would be nice to cover up some overspray. any links?
