Default fuel lines and tank

i just got my car back together and i found theres a leak around the gas tank. i dropped it down and clamped a few lines and it leaks worse now. so im sayin screw it and im going to do all new lines and gas tank. how do i go about getting the fuel pump out of the tank? is there a key to getting it out because i tried turning it and it dosent move and i dont see a clamp or anything? thanks gary

most likely the filler neck

i got the same problem

does it leak with even a little bit of gas (1/4 tank)?

i cant fill up more than 6 gallons

yup, could be the filler neck. but to get the pump out, there is a ring on top of the sending unit that has to be turned to ulock it, usually a hammer and a screw driver works pretty well. filler neck just slides out of the tank, there is a rubber seal where it goes into the tank that goes bad and leaks.
