idle air bypass valve, or IAC for idle air controller. its on the front side of the throttlebody

when the Vehicle Speed Sensor "senses" that you're slowing to a stop, the ECM tells the IAB to let extra air in to avoid stalling.

So if it let too much air in..wouldnt it stall anyways?

From the IAC....nope...high idle will be the symptom, if it lets too much air in.
